Sepahan provisionally moves atop of IPL table

Loading...Tehran Times – ESFAHAN, Sepahan football team replaced Naft at the top of the Iran Professional League (IPL) standings after a 4-1 victory against Gostaresh on Wednesday.
Mohammad Reza Khalatbari scored hat-trick in the match held at the Foolad Shahr Stadium in Isfahan.
Khalatbari opened the scoring just seconds into the match and doubled the lead in the 12th minute with a free-kick.
Mohammad Hossein Moradmand scored Sepahan’s third goal in the 48th minute and Khalatbari was on target in the 73rd minute from the penalty spot.
Mohsen Bayatinia pulled a goal back one minute later.
Elsewhere, Saba was held to a 1-1 draw against Malavan and Saipa drew 1-1 with Paykan.
The IPL Table Standings has Sepahan sitting first and behind the team are Naft, Tractor Sazi, Foolad and Esteghlal with one game in hands each.
