Iran’s Ghoochannejhad to leave Al Kuwait
Tehran Times – KUWAIT CITY, Iran international striker Reza Ghoochannejhad seems to leave Al Kuwait as he has received two offers from Persepolis and Charlton.
Gucci who has scored 11 goals in 10 matches so far this season for Al Kuwait joined the Persian Gulf side in August on loan from Charlton and now the English club wants the Iranian striker to be back.
On the other hand Tehran’s Red giants Persepolis has officially submitted an offer to sign Ghoochannejhad.
Meanwhile the 27-year-old’s agent Reza Fazeli has told Mehrnews Agency that his client is not interested to join Iranian clubs.
Ghoochannejhad, who has represented the Netherlands from 2003 to 2007 in the youth ranks, accepted Carlos Queiroz’s invitation to play for Iran senior national team in 2012.
He scored the winning goal against South Korea which led to Iran’s qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
He also scored Iran’s sole goal in the 3-1 defeat against Bosnia Herzegovina in World Cup group stage match.
