Faghani to referee Asian Cup match between Kuwait and Oman

Loading...Tehran Times – NEWCASTLE, Alireza Faghani of Iran has been handed the task of officiating in Saturday’s Group A match between Kuwait and Oman in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
The 36-year-old referee will be assisted by his countrymen Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Reza Abolfazli in this match, which will be held at the Newcastle Stadium.
Faghani has already officiated the China and Saudi Arabia match in Group B and Kuwait against South Korea in Group A.
The 2015 AFC Asian Cup is underway in Australia. Asia’s top 16 teams are competing in the region’s largest football tournament for a chance to be crowned Asia’s champions.
