Jalal Talebi Appointed IFF Technical Committee Member

Tasnim News – TEHRAN, Former Iranian national football team head coach Jalal Talebi has been appointed as a member of Iran Football Federation (IFF) technical committee on Tuesday.

Jalal Talebi was the head coach of the Iranian national team during the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where Team Melli earned its first ever victory in the competitions against the US.

Iran lost to Yugoslavia and Germany and failed to qualify for the next round.

“I’ve been invited to the committee and I am ready to help our football,” Talebi said.

Talebi has also coached Singapore’s Geylang United and Syria national team.
