Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran’s Naft football coach Alireza Mansourian said that they are ready to defeat El Jaish of Qatar in the AFC Champions League play-offs.

The Iranian football team will host El Jaish in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Tuesday.

The winner of the match will join Uzbek champion Pakhtakor, Saudi club Al Shabab and Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates in Group B.

“We are well-prepared to defeat El Jaish. We will do our best to qualify for the group stage,” Mansourian said in the pre-match news conference.

“We know El Jaish very well. It has three Qatari international players and several foreign players. They are here to defeat us,” he added.

The match against El Jaish is very important since we represent our country, former Iranian midfielder said.
