“Persepolis Seeking Victory over Bunyodkor” – Derakhshan

Tasnim – TASHKENT, Tehran’s Persepolis football team coach Hamid Derakhshan said his men are going to defeat Uzbekistan’s Bunyodkor in Group A of the 2015 AFC Champions League.

Persepolis will meet Uzbekistan’s Bunyodkor in Tashkent on Tuesday.

The Iranian giant topped the group after defeating Lekhwiya 3-0, while Bunyodkor drew with Al Nasr of Saudi Arabia 1-1.

“I hope Persepolis will do its best against Bunyodkor. We have a good knowledge of them and know they are a good team,” Derakhshan said in the pre-match news conference.

“We have had a good start in the AFC Champions League and want to defeat them on their soil.”

“Defeating Lekhwiya 3-0 was a good result but it’s not enough and we have to keep going,” Persepolis coach added.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s Bunyodkor football team head coach Sergey Lushan said that Persepolis match is very difficult for his team.

Uzbekistan’s Bunyodkor will host Persepolis in Tashkent on Tuesday.

“It’s a difficult match for us since Persepolis is a strong team. They took advantage of their opportunities in the match against Lekhwiya. We expect a difficult job against Persepolis,” Sergey Lushan said in the pre-match news conference.

“Persepolis has a several quality players. They are physically impressive. I know we have a difficult match tomorrow,” the coach added.

“We have plans for this match but I will not talk about them at the moment. Overall, we will try to get a good result against Persepolis,” Lushan added.
