FFIRI President to Meet With Japan, South Korean Counterparts

Mehr – TEHRAN, The Iranian Football Federation (IFC) president Ali Kafashian will depart for Eastern Asia on Wednesday to meet with the Japanese and South Korean counterparts.

In addition to these meetings, Kafashian will also visit the facilities there.

He will also watch the friendly match between the Uzbekistan football team and the Korean players on March 27 in Seoul.

The match is a preparatory stage to the qualifying round of the World Cup 2018.

According to Kafashian, his trip is at the invitation of the presidents of Japan and South Korea’s football federations who had previously visited Iran.

Kafashian is planned to hold talks with both presidents and sign a memorandum of understanding on boosting mutual cooperation in both sections of men and women football.
