Sverige Radio – STOCKHOLM, On Tuesday evening, Sweden and Iran meet at the Freinds Arena in Stockholm for a football friendly. Radio Swedens Persian editors have met with coach Carlos Queiroz, who wilL lead his final game as Iran’s national coach.

“It is an important match for us. It is an opportunity for Iran’s national team to gain experience in international football by playing against the Swedish national team full of international players”, says Carlos Queiroz.

Nearly 40 000 tickets have been sold before Tuesday’s international, and many of these are said to have gone to the Swedes of Iranian origin. Carlos Queiroz says that it is always a pleasure to play in countries where there many Iranians live.

“It feels like playing at home. And I know that our Swedish fans are very passionate. It will be a good atmosphere”, says Carlos Queiroz.
