Tasnim – BARCELONA, Barcelona football club has sent a letter of condolence over the death of Iranian journalist Milad Hojatoleslami.

The German jetliner en route from Barcelona, Spain, to Düsseldorf, Germany, plunged from the sky last week and slammed into the French Alps, killing all 150 people on board.

Two Iranian sports journalists – Milad Hojatoleslami and Hossein Javadi – had covered a Real Madrid – FC Barcelona fixture and were on their way to Austria to watch the Iranian national team play Chile.

“We express our most sincere condolences for the loss of journalist Milad Hojatoleslami. We would also appreciate it if you could pass on this most heartfelt message of sympathy to family and friends.”

“We know that a few days before the tragic Germanwings accident in the Alps he was here at the Camp Nou to watch the league match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. In these difficult times, we are at your service to offer anything we can,” FC Barcelona wrote in a letter sent to Tasnim News Agency.
