Persepolis wants all three points against Lekhwiya, Branko says
Tasnim – DOHA, Tehran’s Persepolis football team’s newly-appointed coach Branko Ivankovic said his men are going to defeat Lekhwiya in Qatar.
Persepolis is scheduled to face Lekhwiya in Doha on Wednesday in the AFC Champions League Group A and just needs one point to advance to the next stage.
The Iranian giant defeated the Qatari club 3-0 in late February in Tehran.
“Persepolis is always seeking three points. As long as I am the team’s coach, my philosophy is to win every match,” Branko said.
“Persepolis is not allowed to defend against Lekhwiya. We are going to defeat the team in Doha,” the Croat added.
