Tractor Sazi suffers home defeat in Asian Champions League

Loading...Tehran Times – TABRIZ, Iran Professional League leaders Tractor Sazi suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Uzbek side Nasaf Qarshi in the fifth round of Asian Champions League group stage on Tuesday.
Mehdi Kiani opened the scoring for the hosts in the 50th minute with a powerful curling shot just behind the 18 yard box.
The hosts lead last long for just eight minutes, when Hamed Lak blocked Hamrobekov’s shot but Artur Gevorkyan leveled the score for Nasaf with a diving header from inside the penalty box.
The situation went from bad to worse for Tractor Sazi when Artur Gevorkyan scored his second with a magnificent straight curling shot from a corner kick in the 71th minute.
