Iran Remains Unchanged in FIFA Rankings

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran remains ranked 40th in the FIFA ranking table, which was updated on Thursday, May 7.
After climbing two places in the previous update, Carlos Queiroz’s team is unchanged in the new rankings.
Iran still is the highest ranked Asian team in the world, followed by Japan, South Korea, Australia and the UAE.
There was little movement in the global standings with just three international matches during the past month taken into account.
The top 17 positions remain unchanged, leaving Germany in first place, followed by its World Cup final opponents, Argentina and Belgium.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on June 4, 2015.
