Tehran Times – DUSHANBE, Iran advanced to the semifinals of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-14 football festival for Central and South Asian region.

Team Iran drew 2-2 with India in Group A on Monday in the match held at the Stiqlol Academy in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

Iran will play with Group B second team on Tuesday.

A total of seven teams, namely Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan have participated in the festival.

The festival is focusing on development rather than winning.

All teams will receive a medal and certificate of participation.
