Iran U-19 & U-16 teams drawn in AFC Championship qualifiers groups

Loading...Tehran Times – KUALA LUMPUR, The draws for the AFC U-19 and U-16 Championship Qualifiers took place at the AFC House, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday.
The Iranian U-19 football team was drawn in Group E of the West Zone in its tournament along with Kuwait, Jordan and Nepal.
The qualifiers are scheduled to take place from September 28 to October 6, 2015.
Iran will host the fixtures of Group E.
A total of 43 Member Associations including finals host Bahrain will compete in the qualifiers with ten group winners and five best second-placed teams will qualify for the finals.
Furthermore, the Iran U-16 has been drawn in Group E of the West Zone in its competition alongside Bahrain, India and Lebanon.
The qualifying matches are slated to take place from September 12 to September 20, 2015. Iran will host the fixtures of Group E, the-AFC wrote.
A total of 45 nations will participate in the qualifiers with eleven group winners and four best second-placed teams will qualify for the finals.
