Iran’s KIA Academy to take part in Norway’s tournament
Tehran Times – TEHRAN, KIA Football Academy team will participate in its second international tournament in August in Norway after finishing runner-up in the 2015 Cordial Cup.
Mahdavikia, who is a co-founder of KIA Football Academy, led his U-11 team to 2015 Cordial Cup second place after suffering a 7-6 defeat on penalties against TSV 1860 Munchen in May.
The team will have two training camps in Iran before leaving for the event.
These kinds of tournaments help the new talented players in youth ranks to be found.
Iran’s KIA Academy striker Yadegar Rostami is one of the players who was selected as the best player of the 2015 Cordial Cup.
The Academy co-founder who is hugely interested in working with youth ranks has been recently appointed as the U-14 Hamburg SV team coach.
