Loading...Mehr News – TEHRAN, In a ceremony in Tehran, Iran’s Hazfi Cup was scheduled by drawing for the events. The drawing ceremony of the 29th season of Iran’s Hazfi Cup was held in Academy of Football on Monday.
The Hazfi Cup is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, ran by the Iranian Football Federation.
The first round of the 2015–16 Hazfi Cup will kick off on August 27 with competitions among seeders from Azadegan League, 2nd Division League, and Champions of Provinces.
After the fights in the first round 16 clubs will get to the second round (16th-finals) where Iran’s Premier League clubs join the competitions. The Second Round will start on September 10.
If the finalists were not to play in the 16th-finals of Asian Games, the final of Hazfi Cup will be held on May 20, 2016; otherwise the Cup will be concluded 9 days later.
Premier League Clubs are divided into two sides as Sepahan of Isfahan, Esteghlal of Ahvaz, Rah Ahan of Tehran, Esteghlal of Khuzestan, Zowbahan of Isfahan, Gostaresh Foulad of Tabriz, Malavan of Anzali, and Perspolis are on one side and the opposite side of the table consists of Naft of Tehran, Padideh of Mashhad, Esteghlal of Tehran, Foulad of Khuzestan, Saba of Qom, Tractorsazi, Saipa of Tehran, and Siah Jamegan of Mashhad.
