Loading...Tehran Times – NILAI, Iran defeated Hong Kong 6-0 in the 2015 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship on Monday.
Sara Shirbeigi scored four goals and Fereshteh Karimi and Fahimeh Zarei scored one goal each.
The Iranian team will play Uzbekistan and Malaysia on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
It’s the first edition of the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship, the Asian women’s futsal international competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
It’s being held in Nilai, Malaysia from September 21 to 26.
A total of eight teams are divided into two groups of four teams.
The group winners and runners-up will advance to the semi-final.
