FIFA President Blatter expresses condolence on Norouzi’s death

Loading...Tehran Times – ZURICH,The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) President Sepp Blatter expressed his sadness over death of former Iran striker and Persepolis captain Hadi Norouzi.
“I would like to express my heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Iranian footballer to his family and Persepolis club. Norouzi left us very soon,” Blatter wrote in his message.
“”On behalf of FIFA, I express Persepolis football club and Iran football society my sincerest condolences,”” Blatter said.
Iranian soccer player Norouzi died of heart attack on early Thursday.
The Persepolis captain was laid to rest at his hometown Kapourchal in Babol, North of Iran, on Saturday.
