Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Esteghlal’s second choice goalkeeper Vahid Talebloo has been linked with a move to archrivals Persepolis, according to local media.

Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic who knows Talebloo well from his time at Team Melli tried to sign the 33-year old keeper in summer but Esteghlal player rejected the offer.

Talebloo who started his career with Persepolis youth team in 1995, moved to Esteghlal in 2002 and has played 238 games for the blues. But now with Esteghlal’s current goalkeeper Mehdi Rahmati shining, Talebloo has very few chances of playing in Esteghlal.

After Sosha Makani’s not convincing performance in Persepolis it seems the club will be in the market in winter transfer window to sign an experienced goalkeeper.
