Iranian Teams Learn AFC Champions League Fate

Loading...TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Three Iranian football teams discovered their opponents for the 2016 Asian Champions League group stages.
The 2016 ACL draw took place in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia on Thursday evening.
Iran Professional League (IPL) reigning champion Sepahan has been drawn in Group A along with Al Nasr(UAE), Lokomotiv(UZB) and Al Ittihad (KSA) or Al Wehdat (JOR).
Group B consists of Iran’s Zob Ahan, Al Nassr (KSA), Lekhwiya (QAT) and Bunyodkor (UZB) or Al Shabab (UAE).
Tractor Sazi from Iran has been pitted against Pakhtakor (UZB), Al Hilal (KSA), and Al Jazira (UAE) or Al Sadd (QAT).
Group D consists of Al Ain (UAE), Nasaf (UZB), Al Ahli (KSA) and Naft Tehran (IRN) or El Jaish (QAT).
The first round of group stage matches will commence across two days on 23 and 24 February.
