IPL: Persepolis wins, Esteghlal Khuzestan defeats Zob Ahan [VIDEO]

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Persepolis of Tehran football team defeated Rah Ahan in the last match of the Iran Professional League (IPL) first half.

On Friday, Persepolis beat Rah Ahan 2-0 thanks to a brace from Mehdi Taremi in the 23rd and 42nd minutes.

In Isfahan, Esteghlal Khuzestan brought an end to Zob Ahan’s 12-match unbeaten run.

Mehdi Zobeydi scored the only goal of the match in the 77th minute to send his team top of the IPL table with 32 points.

Esteghlal Khuzestan became champion of IPL in the first half of the season.

Gostaresh Foolad of Tabriz was held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Foolad, Malavan played out a goalless draw against Siahjamegan, and Sepahan drew 1-1 with Padideh.
