Milad Mohammadi set to join Russian club FC Terek Grozny
Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Iranian international Milad Mohammadi and Rah Ahan defender is set to join Russian premier league side Terek Grozny, according to several reports in Iranian media.
Mohammadi has signed a 5-year contract with Rah Ahan last summer. He became one of his team’s key players and invited to Iran national team and U-23 team.
In the July of 2015, Mohammadi went on trial with Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz. He reportedly had two offers from European sides but Rah Ahan coach Farhad Kazemi refused to let him leave the club.
But now Terek Grozny is interested in signing the 22-year old defender and has offered a $300,000 bid to sign him. It has reported that the Russian side will pay a five-thousand dollar a month salary.
Mohammadi will be fourth Iranian player to join a Russian club after Sardar Azmoun, Saeid Ezatolahi and Alireza Haghighi.
Terek Grozny currently stands in 7th place of Russian premier league.
