Futsal legend Vahid Shamsaei undergoes successful knee surgery

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Iranian futsal legend Vahid Shamsaei underwent successful reconstructive knee surgery on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old futsal player has been ruled out for two months after the surgery.

Shamsaei led Tasisat Daryaei to win the Iranian Futsal Super League on January 11.

Tasisat Daryaei captain was named the AFC Futsal Player of the Year 2015.

Shamsaei is futsal’s top international goalscorer of all time.

He is seven-time top goalscorer of the Asian Futsal Championship
