Persianfootball.com – MAFRA, Iranian forward Reza Karamolachaab signed with Portuguese club C.D. Mafra who currently compete in the Portuguese Segunda Liga.

The 18-year old striker who was recently linked with Portuguese clubs, Vitoria de Setubal and Sporting CP, decided to join the recently promoted C.D. Mafra reportedly due to guaranteed senior side minutes.

C.D. Mafra currently competes in the Portuguese Second Division after promoting from the Campeonato Nacional (3rd Division) as league champions.

According to the official club website, Karamolachaab has penned a deal which will see him stay with the club for three and a half seasons. Further details regarding his contract have not been disclosed.

Karamolachaab has featured for several Iranian national youth squads, namely for the U-17, U-20 and U-23. He also participated in the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship Qualifications scoring 5 goals during the qualification campaign.

His career began in the youth squad of Foolad Khuzestan, where he spent five years. He then transferred to the youth selection of Naft Masjed Soleyman for one year until being promoted to the first squad for the 2014-2015 season, earning 9 caps and scoring 1 goal.
