Iran U16 to participate at First women’s Tournament of Nations

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, The Iranian Under-16 women’s football team will play USA and Italy in Group A of the First women’s Tournament of Nations.
Iran will play USA on Tuesday and meet host Italy one day later.
“We will play world champion USA in this tournament and I think it’s a good opportunity for our players to gain experience,” Iran coach Shadi Mahini said.
“We will do our best in the tournament and no matter what team we play,” she added.
The competition will be held in Gradisca d’Isonzo between Monday 25th April and Thursday 28th April.
Group B consists of Mexico, France and England.
