Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran’s Tractor Sazi suffered a 4-1 defeat to Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates in the first leg of their 2016 AFC Champions League Round of 16 meeting on Tuesday.
Ahmed Al Yassi gave the home side the advantage in the 14th minute and substitute Salem Saleh made it 2-0 before the interval.
Augusto pulled a goal back 14 minutes into the second half for the Iranian football team but Saleh extended Al Nasr’s lead in the 77th minute.
Mahmoud Khamis’ spectacular long-range goal a minute from time put the seal on an emphatic display by the Emirati team.
The second leg will be held in Tabriz’s Yadegar Emam Stadium on May 24.
