Loading...Tasnim – TABRIZ, Tractor Sazi coach Amir Ghalenoei believes that they will have a chance to make a good comeback in the second leg against Al Nasr of the UAE.
The Iranian team lost to Al Nasr 4-1 in the first leg of their 2016 AFC Champions League Round of 16 meeting on Tuesday.
“We controlled much of the match and it was strange that Al Nasr only created four chances and scored from those chances,” said Ghalenoei. “I have a lot of confidence that we will be able to make a good comeback in the second leg.”
“The blame [for the defeat] is with our defensive line as they didn’t follow the instructions. That cost us four goals. However, we still have a chance to make a comeback in the second leg and hopefully, our players will have a better match at home,” he added.
The second leg will be held in Tabriz’s Yadegar Emam Stadium on May 24.
