Iran’s Persepolis Linked with Finnish Striker Kokko
Tasnim News – TEHRAN, Iranian football club Persepolis is set to sign RoPS striker Aleksandr Kokko.
The 29-year-old striker became top goal scorer of the Finnish Premier Division last season.
Persepolis is searching to find a new striker after Mehdi Taremi left the club for Turkey’s Caykur Rizespor in June.
Kokko made five appearances for Finland U-21 in 2008-2009.
Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic had already rejected an offer for VVV Venlo striker Ralf Seuntjens.
Iran Professional League’s runner-up is holding a training camp in Ukraine.
