Tasisat Daryaei bow out of AFC Futsal Club Championship 2016 with PK loss to Nagoya Oceans [VIDEO]
Tasnim – BANGKOK, Tasisat Daryaei of Iran failed to advance to the 2016 AFC Futsal Club Championship semi-final.
The defending champion lost to Japan’s Nagoya Oceans 3-2 on penalties after the sides had played out a thrilling 2-2 draw on Tuesday.
“Today was a very, very bad day and we did not play well. Unfortunately, there were some small mistakes regarding the tactics of our team. This was the reason we lost,” Tasisat Daryaei coach Amir Shamsaei said.
“Nagoya did very well and surprised us. They pressed us and fought well and when you try so hard you can win.”
“We won last year, but they won this time. Losing is not the end of life. This has been a very good experience for the future of Tasisat,” he added.
