Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iranian midfielder Andranik Teymourian won his 100th cap in the national team’s match against Uzbekistan on Thursday.

The-33-year old player replaced Masoud Shojaei in the 83rd minute.

He played in the 2006 and 2014 World Cups, as well as 2007, 2011 and 2015 Asian Cups.

Teymourian has played for Iran’s national football teams at the youth level, before being selected to join the senior side.

On May 18, 2014, Teymourian captained Iran in the match against Belarus.

Teymourian has scored nine goals for Team Melli.
