Tehran Times – ATEHNS, Greek club FC Panionios has offered a contract extension to Iranian striker Karim Ansarifard according to Gazzatta.gr.

The Iranian striker’s contract will expire at the end of the season but the Greek club are interested in keeping him.

He has been linked with Olympique de Marseille, PAOK and AEK in the summer but he opted to see out his contract with Panionios.

After a poor spell in Osasuna, Ansarifard joined Greek side Panionios in summer of 2015 and impressed in his first season with the team as he scored 9 goals in 30 appearances.

He has scored 12 goals in 51 caps for Iran national football team.
