Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal of Tehran defeated Saba of Qom and booked a place in the quarter-final round of the Iran’s Hazfi Cup.
The Blues beat Saba 4-3 on penalties in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium after a goalless 120 minutes.
Esteghlal will face Naft Tehran in the next round.
Elsewhere, Naft Gachsaran defeated Foolad 3-2 on penalties, Sepahan edged past Aluminum Arak 2-1, Zob Ahan defeated Machin Sazi 3-2, Saipa beat Naft Masjed Soleyman 2-1, and Tractor Sazi defeated New Bargh 2-0.
