IPL: Persepolis held by Paykan, Sepahan and Foolad draw [VIDEO]

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Persepolis was held to a goalless draw by Paykan in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
In the match, which took place in Shohada Shahr-e Qods Stadium, west of Tehran, IPL pacesetter Persepolis drew 0-0 with Paykan.
The Reds went down to 10 men in the 65th minute after Mohammad Ansari received his second yellow card and was sent off.
Persepolis stays top of the table with 23 points from 11 matches.
Elsewhere, Naft Tehran defeated Saipa 2-0 thanks to goals from Mohammad Ghazi and Arash Rezavand.
Sepahan drew 1-1 with Foolad in Isfahan. Sasan Ansari gave the visiting team a lead in the 19th minute from the penalty spot and Moussa Coulibaly equalized the match 14 minutes later.
On Friday, Esteghlal will host Gostaresh Foolad, Tractor Sazi will play Saba in Tabriz and could move top of the table with a win, Padideh will meet rock-bottom Machine Sazi and Sanat Naft will play Zob Ahan.
