Server Djeparov joins Sepahan on loan

Loading...Tehran Times – ISFAHAN, Uzbekistan national football team captain Server Djeparov, who signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Esteghlal, joined Sepahan football club on loan until the end of the season.
Djeparov joined Esteghlal when the Blues have already been banned from signing new players in the winter transfer window by FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC).
The Uzbek player is officially unable to play for Esteghlal hence he joined Sepahan on loan until the end of the season. He will return to Esteghlal when the transfer ban is lifted in the summer transfer window.
Djeparov has won the ‘Asian Footballer of the Year’ award twice, in 2008 and 2011. He has previously played For Bunyodkar, FC Seoul, Seongnam FC, Ulsan Hyundai and Lokomotiv Tashkent.
He has scored 25 times in 121 caps for Uzbekistan national football team.
