Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iranian football club Naft Tehran completed the signing of former Alanyaspor attacker Sajjad Shahbazzadeh on Wednesday.

He has joined Naft Tehran until the end of the season.

Shahbazzadeh had already joined Tractor Sazi football team but canceled his deal after FIFA imposed January transfer ban on Tabriz based club.

The 27-year-old striker had been linked with Iranian giants Esteghlal and Persepolis.

Shahbazzadeh left Turkish club Alanyaspor in January 2017 after not receiving adequate playing time.

He has already played for Iranian teams Saipa and Esteghlal.

Naft Tehran has previously signed former Bolton midfielder Andranik Teymourian.
