Loading...Tehran Times – MUSCAT, Esteghlal Khouzestan head coach Sirous Pourmousavi stated that he is delighted after the win against Al Fateh but his side is now focusing on the next match.
“It was a fantastic win and I’m so proud of my players. It was our first experience in the AFC Champions League so obviously we had a lot of stress but on the other side Al Fateh players were quite calm,” Esteghlal Khouzestan head coach Sirous Pourmousavi told reporters in the post-match press conference.
Al Fateh mission is now over and now we are working on our next opponent Al Jazira. We are analyzing their game and I hope we could continue our winning run against them,” he added.
Esteghlal Khouzestan edged past Saudi Arabia’s Al Fateh in the Group B of the AFC Champions League match thanks to the 80th minute goal by Abolfazl Alaii.
