Al Bawaba – TEHRAN, Iran’s football federation FFI has made Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against China free for spectators, ISNA news agency reported in Tehran on Saturday.

The federation is hoping for a sell-out crowd in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, which has an official capacity of 78,116, to boost the national team’s chances of reaching the 2018 finals in Russia.

Iran head Group A in the Asian qualifiers and will play three of their last four games in the qualifiers at home. The top two teams in the group will qualify for Russia.
