The 30-year-old keeper signed a 2-year contract with the Dutch club.
Etemadi joins the club after an unsuccessful spell with Persian Gulf Pro League team, Sanat Naft Abadan.
The shot-stopper came through the Heerenveen youth academy before plying his trade with FC Emmen, Veendam, FC Groningen, Tractor Sazi Tabriz, and Almere City FC.
De Graafschap, located in the city of Doetinchem, currently participates in the Dutch second division after they relegated from the Eredivisie after the 2015-2016 season.
