Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, PGPL leader Persepolis was held to a 1-1 draw by Siahjamegan on Wednesday.
In the match held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Farshad Ahmadzadeh gave Persepolis football team the lead just after six minutes.
The Reds created several chances but wasted their opportunities.
With six minutes remaining, Amir Mohammad Panahi equalized the match on the counter attack.
“We could have won the match but our players missed their chances. That’s football,” Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic said in the post-match news conference.
Persepolis remains top of the PGPL with 10 points from four games.
