PGPL: Saipa stuns Esteghlal Tehran, Tractor Sazi defeat Naft Tehran [VIDEO]

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Saipa football team defeated Esteghlal 1-0 in the Persian Gulf Pro League on Thursday night.

Mohammad Abbaszadeh scored from the penalty spot in the 58th minute in Tehran’s Takhti Stadium.

Saipa captain Rouzbeh Shahalidoust was sent off in the injury time after receiving his second yellow card.

Esteghlal suffered its second defeat in four matches in the PGPL new season.

Sepahan defeated Zob Ahan 2-0 in Isfahan derby thanks to goals from Sasan Ansari and Jalaleddin Alimohammadi.

Pars Jonoubi Jam edged past Sanat Naft 2-1 and Tractor Sazi earned its first win after three defeats, beating Naft Tehran 2-1.
