PGPL: Padideh stun Esteghlal at Azadi [VIDEO]

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Esteghlal football team lost to Padideh 2-0 in Week 5 of the PGPL at the Azadi Stadium on Tuesday.
Mohammad Ghazi gave the visiting team the lead in the 15th minute with a left-footed strike outside the box.
Soon after, Esteghlal put Padideh under pressure and created several opportunities but the strikers lacked the cutting edge.
Hossein Mehrban extended the lead in the 72nd minute.
It’s Esteghlal’s third defeat in five matches.
The Iranian giants started the competition with a 1-0 loss to Sanat Naft.
Alireza Mansourian were held to a goalless draw by Esteghlal Khuzestan and defeated tractor Sazi 1-0 in the following weeks.
Esteghlal also lost to Saipa 1-0 in Week 4.
