Iran U-17 defeats Mexico in 2nd Marbella friendly match

Loading...Tasnim – MARBELLA, Iran U-17 football team defeated Mexico 3-0 in the Costa del Sol 2017 Friendly Match Week in Marbella Center on Sunday.
Mohammad Ghaderi opened the scoring for the Persians in the 65th minute. Sobhan Khaghani extended Iran’s lead in the 80th minute and Saeid Karimi made it 3-0 with two minutes remaining.
Abbas Chamanian’s boys had already defeated France 4-0 in their first match.
The friendlies were part of the preparation for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in India from October 6 to 28.
Iran is drawn with Guinea, Germany and Costa Rica in Group C.
