Luka Modric’s shirt up for auction in aid of Iranian earthquake victims

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Luka Modric’s signed shirt worn at FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 is raising money for the Iranian earthquake victims.

The shirt is going to raise funds for the victims’ families and survivors of last month earthquake in Kermanshah province in the west of Iran.

Modric’s shirt has been brought for auction by Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic, who was invited to the UAE by the Real Madrid star last week.

Ivankovic was coach of Modric in Dinamo Zagreb from 2006 to 2008.

In mid-November, A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Iran’s western provinces, killing about 600 people and injured more than 7,000 others.

The earthquake also caused major damage to buildings and infrastructure in the cities.
