Tehran Times – ISFAHAN, Zob Ahan coach Amir Ghalenoei vows they will respect their Indian opponents at the AFC Champions League play-off.

Zob Ahan will host Aizawl in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium on Tuesday.

“The match against Aizawl is very important and we will do our best to book a place in the group stage,” Ghalenoei said.

“We have studied the Indian team and know they are dangerous on the counterattack. They will be headed by a Portuguese coach and take advantage of six non-Indian players,” he added.

“Zob Ahan will not take nothing for granted against Aizawl,” Ghalenoei concluded.

Zob Ahan FC are yet to lose a game since December 1, 2017. The team are also the runner-up of the 2010 edition of the AFC Champions League.
