Arsenal boss Wenger a fan of ‘marvelous’ Ostersund striker Ghoddos

Tribal Football – LONDON, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he’s a fan of Ostersund striker Sam Ghoddos.

Wenger was impressed by Ghoddos in the first-leg of their Europa League tie and talked him up ahead of Thursday’s clash.

“The most impressive player in the first game was Ghoddos, who was a marvellous player technically, tactically,” enthused Wenger.

“They are a team that plays good football.

“Do I want him on the team? We’re not in the transfer period.”

He added: “What is absolutely vital is we go into the game with a good focus to win it.

“It’s a good opportunity for the players to show they have the quality to compete at this level.”
