Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal of Tehran football club’s striker Mame Baba Thiam has reportedly been sidelined for at least four weeks.

The Senegalese striker has suffered a hamstring injury which forced him to leave the field in the match against Al Ain of the UAE in Group D of the AFC Champions League.

According to Esteghlal club, Thiam will likely be out of action at least for four weeks with the injury.

Esteghlal will face Al Rayyan of Qatar in a crucial match on April 2 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
