Morocco Striker Azaro says match against Iran will be difficult
Tasnim – RABAT, Morocco national football team striker Walid Azaro says that the match against Iran in the 2018 World Cup will not be an easy game.
Morocco will start its campaign in Russia against Iran on 15th June, 2018 in St. Petersburg.
The African powerhouse has been drawn in one of the hardest groups, where they will face Iran, Portugal and Spain in Group B.
“Some individuals say that is the ‘group of death,’ however I prefer it. Morocco can play effectively in opposition to massive groups, and I needed a challenge like that,” Azaro told BBC.
“I noticed reviews suggesting Iran should not be a powerful opponent, and that’s not true. They’re an excellent team and this match won’t be straightforward,” the 22-year-old added.
“I am positive we are going to make the nation proud,” Al Ahly of Egypt added.
