PGPL: Esteghlal downs Siahjamegan, Saipa defeats Naft Tehran [VIDEO]

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal football team sealed a massive three points at home this afternoon as Winfried Schaefer’s team cruised past Siahjamegan 4-1.
After a goalless first half in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Esteghlal scored four goals in second half.
Farshid Esmaeili opened the scoring five minutes into the second half.
Ali Ghorbani scored a brace in the 67th and 76th minutes.
Hamidreza Ali Askari pulled a goal back in the 80th minute but Esmaeili was on target once again in the 84th minute.
Siahjamegan was relegated from the PGPL after suffering the defeat.
Also, Saipa beat Naft Tehran 4-2, Esteghlal Khuzestan lost to Gostaresh Foolad 2-1 and Pars Jonoubi and Foolad played out a goalless draw.
