I look forward to the Turkey match: Carlos Queiroz

Yeniakit.com – ISTANBUL, Iranian national football team coach Queiroz said that the match tomorrow against Turkey in Istanbul will be an important test for themselves.

Speaking at a press conference, Carlos Queiroz noted the importance of the match that he will play in Turkey, “Turkey’s gaming culture is strong and they are very capable. They will be highly motivated thus it will be an important test for us. Turkey is a very good and is a football country. I look forward to the match tomorrow. The two teams will be going into the match for the first time in 44 years and it will be a nice fight in the cultural sense. I hope the Turkish National Team will return to the world stage again,” he said.

The Portuguese coach, who said they had a good camp in Istanbul, continued:

“Preparations are an important process before any tournament. We are trying to bring the team to the best level possible, in the training, in the dialogue with the players, throughout the entire camp. We had a very good camp so far. We are getting better than we wanted. We are aware of the importance of tomorrow’s match and our goal is to have a good World Cup. To play an important football match against countries such as Turkey is a great honor for us, so we are very happy.”

Iranian National Team Technical Director Queiroz said that the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the favorite of Portugal’s cups in the same group,
