Artworks on Iranian football legends to be displayed

Loading...Financial Tribune – TEHRAN, Nostalgic images of Iran football players from the 1960’s and 1970’s are to be displayed at a silkscreen printing exhibition at Fereshteh Book City Gallery on July 6-17.
The exhibit by visual artist Ali Aale-Hosseini titled “Iran National,” features photos of legendary football players including Homayoun Behzadi, Ali Parvin, Gholamhossein Mazloumi, Nasser Hejazi and Karo Haqverdian, Mehr News Agency reported on its Persian website.
Screen printing (serigraph) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.
